How To Guide - Volume Rollers

Step by step guide on how to use your volume rollers.

  • Start detangling your hair with The Detangler
  • Apply a product to enhance volume. We recommend a mousse, applied to the roots, mid lengths and ends.
  • Start to dry the roots with medium heat and speed, lifting hair upwards to encourage volume.
  • Blow-dry each section, using the brush underneath the hair to create root lift, rolling the hair back onto itself.
  • Keep sections neat to prevent tangling when removing the rollers.
  • Make sure hair is completely dry before placing in the rollers for maximum hold.
  • Smooth the ends around the velcro before rolling to avoid buckling.
  • Secure each roller with balancing clips - one on each side for even, balanced volume.
  • Allow the hair to fully cool before removing the rollers, this will ensure longer lasting results. 
  • Remove both balancing clips before gently removing the volume rollers. Then, brush using The Everyday brush to create shiny, bouncy hair and encorege movement.
  • We recommend larger rollers through the top for maximum volume, and smaller through the sides to encourage movement.
  • Give the hair a full brush through to smooth out any roller sectioning and bring all the hair together, creating soft, bouncy shine.
